Serious Educational Game Solutions
SYSKIN provides fully integrated software design and development teams to deliver innovative and engaging training solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our team used the Unity game engine along with the Playmaker visual scripting tools to develop an interactive game that developed skills that players can use in completion of real world tasks within their assigned work. SYSKIN leveraged low cost tools and library assets to lower overall cost, reduce development time as well as to increase quality of graphics and consistency in player experience. Players are also offered the ability to expand their domain knowledge through the use of mini-games within the delivered solution. The player scores as well as other critical game performance metrics are captured through the use of xAPI built into each of the Android, iOS and PC versions of the final game release. |
The Capital Planning Model (CPM)
SYSKIN provides subject matter expertise to Headquarters Department of the Army G-8, The Force Development Directorate, to perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling. Our team used SAS and other proprietary and open source statistical and analytic tools to perform predictive modeling. The analysis involved the query of multiple, large data systems used by the Army to hold budget data as well as systems to track on hand equipment. The planning modules and investment courses of action developed support Army capital planning and investment forums like the AROC. |
Clarity Application Development
SYSKIN provides subject matter expertise to the Food and Drug Administration, Office of Information Management, performing software coding and systems integration services to support the deployment of an enhanced mobile application. An iterative approach to design and development, coupled with multiple customer demonstrations highlight our approach. Using a phased lifecycle development that includes, design, development and test phases, the team provided deliverables that included additions and changes to the FDA's Clarity system. These enhancements included expanded Project, Budget and Contract Modules. |
